Pets —Well behaved dogs or other pets are welcome. Try the link to Cornwall County Council for info on Marazion beach and a link to a list of dog friendly beaches. All four pubs in Marazion are ‘dog friendly’. Would a child’s stair gate be any help with your dog’s stay at Zennor Cottage? Let us know and we’ll put one in at the top of the stairs.

No Extra Charges — All towels, linen, electricity are included. If your children need a high chair, booster seat or stair gate we can provide these at no extra cost. No VAT. No ‘booking fees’. No ‘admin fees’. No ‘pet’ fees. WiFi Free super-fast WiFi available but please see the AcceptableUseOfWiFi policy.

Heating -The heating is all electric (heaters in all rooms) with an extra electric stove (looks like a log burning stove) in the living room. The bathroom has underfloor heating. It’s lovely and warm with good wall and roof insulation. All electricity is included.

Parking —A garage next to Zennor Cottage is included, but is only large enough for medium size cars (garage internal dimensions: Door Width 2.1m, Internal Width 2.5m, Height 1.8m, Length 4.5m for example a Volvo S40 or an Audi A4 will fit ok). Parking for large 4×4 and large estate cars is available in the public car parks next to the beach. Extra parking space in the public car park is approximately £35 per week.

Smoking & Fire Safety —Zennor Cottage is a NO SMOKING property. Please do not smoke inside. But there’s a sheltered area outside the door and the first floor balcony gives a place for a smoke in the evening sun. Also, for fire-safety please, no candles or incense burners. Thank you. Prices —The prices on this website are significantly below agents’ prices. Book direct with the owners and you make the saving. 10% Discount off a second week when booking your first week. No VAT to add on. No ‘booking fees’. No ‘admin fees’. 25% deposit to confirm your booking (refundable if you need to cancel or change the booking up to one month before your holiday, or if the week is re-let), then the balance is due one month before your holiday.

TV Channels —We get all the main tv channels on terrestrial Freeview but the number of channels is limited. We don’t want you to miss your favourite programmes, so please have a look at our available Freeview Channels for more details.  The ‘smart’ tv in the livingroom is linked to the WiFi for ‘catch-up’ channels.

Deposit —To confirm your booking, please make a 25% deposit. This is refundable if you need to cancel more than one month before your visit. If you need to cancel less than one month ahead the deposit is refundable if the week is re-let . PayPal, Cash or Cheques are ok, or let us know if you’d like to do a bank transfer, but we’re not set up for credit/debit cards.

Change-Over Day —The changeover day is Saturday. To allow for cleaning, please be away by 12:00 and arrive after 4:00pm. Out of Season Short-Breaks are available on a daily rate (1/7 the weekly price per day), let us know the dates you’d like to come.

Standards —Zennor Cottage is inspected annually by VisitEngland and is rated 4 Star.

Places to Eat – There are lots of great places to eat within walking distance of Zennor Cottage. Have a look at: The King’s Arms, and the Godolphin Arms, and the Marazion Hotel, and Ben’s Cornish Kitchen. I’ve tried them all and am happy to recommend them.

Supermarkets —Morrisons, Sainsbury and Tesco are 3 miles away on the edge of Penzance at Eastern Green. Iceland is in the Wharfside Shopping Centre in Penzance and Lidl is 5 miles away between Penzance and Newlyn. On-Line groceries can be ordered from and .
